So far this is the third time I've heard on the news about an officer being shot. These days I am caring less and less because I hear about a shooting almost everyday. I am becoming a little precautious nowadays because every shooting is always around the places I always go. Like the Nov. 13 shooting took place in the Frankford section. All I have to do is take the Roosevelt Boulevard and in 10 minutes I would be in the Frankford neighborhood. All I hear is people talking about taking guns off the streets. But I really don't see anything happening. Instead of the guns being taken away, all I hear about is officers or civilian lives being taken away. But all these cop killings aren't going to stop me from becoming an officer. I would feel much better about risking my life than to hear about someone else's being taken away.
